Role: Bid Manager (Security Services)

Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment has been appointed the task of networking for a Bid Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a comprehensive provider of high-level security services, specialising in tailored protection strategies for individuals, businesses and industries. Equipped with a wealth of operational and management experience, our client has taken on a number of elaborate and challenging assignments in the UK and beyond, securing their reputation as a leading security services provider. As Bid Manager, you will be required to develop bid-winning strategies, write and edit proposals and communicate with other team members to ensure bid security. The ideal Bid Manager will have experience within a similar role or environment and will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the industry, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for bid submissions and raise them with the bid management team
Conduct research and brainstorm key points to include in the bid
Craft persuasive and detailed proposals
Perform risk assessments and address concerns of clients and company staff
Ensure all deadlines are met
Work closely with all members of the sales and business development team
Conduct team briefings once bids have been secured
Requirements:
Previous experience as a bid writer is advantageous
Excellent FM industry knowledge and a willingness to keep up with trends
Superb written and verbal communication skills
APMP certification and InDesign experience is advantageous
Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
