Role: Business Development Manager - Cleaning (Entry Level)
Salary: £30k-£35k plus travel expenses paid and full training provided
Job Status: Permanent/Full-Time
Location: London, but will be expected to travel to client sites on a regular basis

Role Description:
Our client, an innovative and forward-thinking commercial cleaning company has an fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their Team in London, where full training will be provided. Delivering environmentally friendly soft services to customers across the UK, their aim is to challenge industry presumptions and deliver the best customer service experience while achieving sustainability goals. As Business Development Manager, you will achieve turnover and margin targets set by the Board, liaising with a group of BDMs, a Bid Writer and a Creative Bid Designer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry level Business Development Manager to join a Team dedicated to providing exceptional cleaning services to its clients, allowing you to develop and grow both personally and professionally.
Responsibilities:
Deliver agreed annual Sales targets
Identify and effectively target new growth opportunities / clients as agreed with the Head of Sales to grow turnover
Identify, classify and develop Sales leads in line with strategy and as agreed with Head of Sales
Proactively work with the Operations teams to support them with client opportunities and identify suitable opportunities from the existing operational set-ups; Common Part contracts
Follow up allocated Sales leads, Periodic and Ad-hoc quotations
Influence existing clients and potential clients to increase the probability of a sale
Prepare a monthly summary of sales activity through CRM/ tracker
Ensure quotes and invoices for work are accurate and ensure an appropriate profit margin
Produce proposals and quotes supported by the Bid Manager
Establish effective working relationships with a wide range of staff internally and at clients and potential clients
Work closely with the Implementation Team to ensure precise handover of new opportunities
Comply with the Sales Procedures at all times, unless otherwise agreed in writing
Reach and exceed financial targets set and agreed with Head of Sales , focusing on delivering the agreed gross margin
Identify and agree new target client categories with Head of Sales to deliver market expansion
